April Harris Williams, Estate Agent at Prudential Realty in Sherman Oaks, prides herself on professionalism with a personal touch as a businesswoman since 1980. A member of the top producer’s Chairman’s Circle Gold Division for 10 years, April has been a training director for new agents, mentoring the future generation of real estate, watching them blossom under her guidance. With yearly sales topping the $20 million mark, April has truly earned her array of accolades, and sales honors. Her direct communication is matched by boundless enthusiasm and exemplary real estate expertise.  Working with business managers and individuals, April handles every type of property, from estates to condominiums as well as building, residential and income investments. . Her vast resources include flexible financial planning, escrow options, thorough key inspections and savvy negotiating to close sales and purchases, new construction, probate, lender owned properties, foreclosures, short sales and residential income and commercial properties.

A native of Sherman Oaks, California, daughter of one of Hollywood’s most in demand (1950-1991) movie an TV session players and member of the Doc Severinsen Orchestra on the Johnny Carson Show – trumpet player Maurie Harris – April entered the world of real estate more than two decades ago, following a bright acting career in acting and musical theater at the LA Civic Light Opera in Los Angeles coupled with successful ventures managing small and large businesses, along with a position as marketing director for OHCAL Foods Inc. with 252 Franchises.  During this time Ms. Williams negotiated and implemented School lunch programs for Subway contracts in excess of 1.5 million dollars, created and implemented motivational marketing seminars while raising funds from sponsors off-setting company expenses.

In 1984 – 2001 April was Director of Operations for a Company Store for Marketing 2000 resulting in 25 Franchises of Designer Pizza shops throughout California. She inaugurated the concept of the “Gourmet Pizza leading to the establishment of 15 Picasso Pizzas and Buffets. Duties included start-up training, menu creation, kitchen and restaurant design and building and on going support. The chain was featured on ABC”S “LA TODAY”.

As a Special Events coordinator for 12 years, April created and operated a Special Events and Gourmet Catering Service called “Parties to Go” servicing more than one thousand people weekly for Corporate, Private and Special Events. Duties included managing budget and contract negotiations as well as, planning and organizing the special event, staffing managers, chefs, operations staff, entertainment and special guest speakers. April created and implemented Menu selection and designs.
Additionally, April recruited sponsorship affiliates, and was the publicist and public relations contact for media.

April has created and produced several music projects including the implementation management and marketing for Jazz nights and educational programs in local communities and professional venues.
Some projects include fundraising events, Development Chair for Symphony in the Glen with Arthur B. Rubinstein, Music for Our Lives program with composer John Williams, Sotheby’s Jazz Night, Red Carpet Jazz Series Upstairs at Vitello’s and the on going educational Jazz Master Class series and creation of the LA Jazzpro Connection. April lives with her husband, percussionist Donald J Williams, and together they have raised six children.
